The race is on to develop a vaccine for SARS-Cov-2 as one of the top solutions to defeat the global pandemic. But once a vaccine is ready, who will get first access? How will the distribution work? As the public conversation about COVID-19 changes from one about what public health experts recommend to the tools we need for sustained recovery, the issues surrounding the global distribution of a yet-to-be created vaccine loom large.

In this webinar Alison Thompson, Assistant Professor at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and expert on pandemic ethics, will discuss the ethics of how to approach the distribution of and access to a vaccine examining both local and global contexts.

Date & Time:
Thursday, May 21
