A few days ago, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) asked airlines to issue a full refund to customers seeking cancellation of flight tickets booked during the coronavirus lockdown. The guidelines issued to airlines says that no cancellation charge will be levied on the cancelled tickets.

If you’ve booked a ticket on a domestic or international flight during the first lockdown period (25 March to 14 April) for travel during the same period, and “if the airline has received the payment”, you can ask for a full refund for your ticket price. No cancellation charges will apply.

Air Lines are refunding full ticket value but the Agents are deducting there commission/convenience charges from the amount paid by the passenger at the time of booking. These agent are again charging their commission/convenience charges at the time of new booking against credit shells.
