Sky News host Peter Gleeson says the state of New South Wales “is the most professionally run, especially on the economic narrative”.

Mr Gleeson said it is great to see the state “leading the charge” on changes to taxation and potential reform around home buying.

He said as Australia pushes into the post COVID economic recovery the “conventional rule book” needs to go.

He also said replacing stamp duty on property transfers with a land tax “has long been on the agenda of policymakers”.

“This is the type of forward thinking we need right now”.

“Reforming tax is crucial to our future”.
