The World Health Organisation has reported a record increase in global coronavirus cases, with the total rising by 228-thousand in 24 hours. The biggest increases were from the United States, Brazil, India and South Africa. It further enforces the urgent need for a vaccine - and according to the Managing Director of Country Programmes at Gavi - the Vaccine Alliance - it's vital that Africa is part of that process. The SABC's Sherwin Bryce-Pease spoke to Managing Director Thabani Maphosa, from Geneva, Switzerland.
