Many countries are easing or preparing to ease their strict lockdown conditions. But the World Health Organisation has warned the worst is not yet over. So far 3.5 million cases of COVID-19 and 250-thousand deaths have been reported to the WHO.
Although the number of cases is declining in Western Europe, nations in Africa, South East Asia, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Americas are still on the rise. W.H.O Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warns that lockdowns may have to be reimposed.
