Singapore reported 158 new COVID-19 cases on July 8, bringing the total to 45,298. Nine are community cases, of which four are Singaporeans or permanent residents and five are work pass holders. There are also three imported cases, all of whom had been placed on stay-home notice upon arrival. The vast majority of new cases continue to be work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.
