On May 11, Singapore reported 486 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the national tally to 23,822. The majority of the new cases are migrant workers staying in dormitories, while two are Singaporeans or permanent residents. The Health Ministry said the lower number of new cases is partly due to fewer tests being processed at a testing laboratory, where equipment is being re-calibrated.
