South Korea has extended COVID-19 restrictions targeting eateries in its capital Seoul for another week. "Level 2.5" social distancing measures were supposed to be lifted on Sep 6. Residents will not be able to dine in at restaurants and pubs past 9pm, and dining in at any hour is banned at franchise coffee shops and bakeries. Schools in Seoul will extend online learning until Sep 20. South Korea has reported triple-digit new daily infections for the past three weeks.
