This event was a two-day online conference convened by UNU-WIDER on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic in Africa, 11-12 February 2021. The fourth session of the conference was a panel discussion on the new normal and future development of Africa. The session and the conference closed with a summary and vote of thanks by UNU-WIDER Research Fellow Maureen Were.
