-----MAJOR CRUISE NEWS: CANADA BANS CRUISE SHIPS------

-----HUGE CRUISE UPDATE: CARNIVAL ANNOUNCES POLICIES------
Another cruise news s2021 tory this week, Carnival Cruise Line announced its rules and regulations for the resumption of cruising. While other lines have issued recommendations, this latest cruise update from Carnival Cruise Line made it the first of the big three cruise lines to formalize its plans. However, the next day, Carnival Cruise Line removed these protocols from its website. We will be following these cruise updates as the story develops and will be covering it in further cruise updates!

-----CRUISE UPDATES U.S. CRUISE LINES REQUIRE VACCINES------
Recently UK brand Saga Cruises became the first cruise line to require vaccines. This past week, two U.S. cruise lines made the same announcement. In this cruise news update, American Queen Steamboat Company and Victory Cruise Lines formally announced that starting July 1st, all cruisers on its ships would need to show proof of a vaccination. Oddly, the cruise line still plans to begin cruising in April without this requirement. Will other larger cruise lines follow suit? Stay tuned for more cruise updates on vaccines!

This week, MSC Cruises took delivery of MSC Virtuosa, the 18th ship in the fleet. There was a flag ceremony to honor this milestone. The ship will begin sailing in April 2021.
