Manpower Minister Josephine Teo outlined efforts taken to manage the Covid-19 outbreak at worker dormitories, highlighting that the inter-agency task force has had a "clear focus on migrant workers' well-being".

Speaking at the multi-ministry task force press conference on May 1, Mrs Teo explained that now that the first two phases have been implemented, the third phase which will focus on the recovery process.

This will involve the rehousing of those who have recovered from the virus.
"Many workers will be rehoused and will have to get used to new friends. Many employers will have to adjust to workers being in different locations with new arrangements," she said.
