South Korea has reported 27 new coronavirus cases today... bringing the nation's total to 10-thousand-5-hundred-and-91. This marks the seventh straight day that the number of new COVID-19 infections in the country has stayed below 50.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that, while the number of new cases has remained low, chances of further infections persist with people heading out to polling stations on this election day.
11 of the 27 new cases are from the metropolitan area... 5 from Seoul and 6 from Gyeonggi-do Province.
