The health department says it has recorded 43 new COVID-19 related deaths. And that brings the death toll to 2 456. Minister Zweli Mkhize earlier extended his condolences to families of the deceased. At the same time, the Cumulative number of total cases is 138 134 while recoveries stand at 68 925 and the total number of new tests is 38 075. Meanwhile, the Health Minister says the Taxi Association's decision to defy government's lockdown regulations will backfire. Santaco announced earlier today that it would load passengers to full capacity from tomorrow. Minister Mkhize, however, says there will be serious health consequences.
