Global coronavirus cases have surpassed 10 million with nearly half a million lives being claimed by the deadly virus in just seven months.

North America, Latin American and Europe account for 25 per cent of cases, while Asia represents 11 per cent of all infections.

Meanwhile the US alone has recorded 2.5 million infections with 125 thousand deaths forcing states like Florida and Texas to re-instate restrictions.
